Hi,
I did buy a few days ago "FreeBSD 2.1" from 'Walnut Creek'
on CDROM.
I have on my system (486DX/4 120, 20MB RAM, 2 EIDE HD, SVGA)
"NEC MultiSpin 4V" CDROM drive installed on secondary EIDE
controller, it's work propertly with MSDOS, WIN'95, WIN-NT
and LINUX.
When I try install FreeBSD, the kernel recognize my secondary
controler, but don't recognize my CDROM drive (the CD is
inside the drive).
I know, I could install from one of FAT partitions, but I don't
have there room for copy FreeBSD instalation files and I don't
have a tape drive for make big backup from my files what I
could temporary remove.

Please give me some suggestions, I have 0 expirience with
FreeBSD.

Thanks, Andre
