Organization: The Forest City Exchange, Forest City, Florida Date: Sat, 24 Feb 1996 14:46:15 GMT Message-ID: <DnABp7.66G@sgb.oau.org> X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 18 Can anyone tell me if I can use the latest version of FreeBSD (2.1 I think is what's labelled on the CD) with a Toshiba Satellite T2130CS with a Panasonic PCMCIA card and model 720 CDROM? Details - 8M RAM, 486DX4 75mhz processor, 500M hard drive. PCMCIA card uses special cable (computer end) to high density SCSI2 connector (the small one as apposed to the larger SCSI connectors) to the CDROM. CDROM is SCSI-2. I think this would imply interface is SCSI-2. Picked up the CDROM at the Hamfest, was a bargain. Any input would sure be nice. Thank you!
