Hi!

I have a 486 VLB with 16 MB RAM, and a Diamond Speedstar Pro (not SE)
grafic card, with 1MB ram.

I tried to get 16 bit colors on my X windows, but system just crashes
when starting. I tried configuring "linear" mode and different base
addresses, but it didn't work. Does anyone have any idea how to fix
this? It shouldn't be a hardware problem, since Windows 95 can do 800x600
in 64K colors and 640x400 in 16M colors without any problems ...

Thanks,
