I'd like to see something similar to extended attributes like in
OS/2's HPFS for Linux. I'd like to make a OS/2 WorkPlace Shell workalike
for Linux and X, but I'm trying to figure out how to to emulate WPS's
object attributes for file objects (like icons, file descriptions,
etc.). Under OS/2's HPFS, icons and other attributes are made part of
the file via the extended attributes. How hard would something like this
be to add to ext2fs?
