say your network is 10.10.10.* and they are on one ethernet. now you
want to have a SLIP dialin from home to one of the system that has FreeBSD.
the home machine is configure to be 10.10.10.99. all you have to is add
a permanent arp entry:
arp -s 10.10.10.99 aa.aa.aa.aa.aa pub

where aa.aa.aa.aa is the ethernet card address of the FreeBSD box.

good luck
