I'm trying to bring up FreeBSD 2.1 on a Gateway 2000 computer with a
pair of Seagate ST32430N disks attached to an adaptec AHA-2940 controller.

The kernel finds all of the devices that are attached to the computer
with two major exceptions---the disks.

As the system boots, the SCSI card says something (which I didn't write
down) about plug & play setting of the SCSI IDs.

My guess is that FreeBSD can't handle this and I need to go in and see
if I can manually set the SCSI IDs, correct?
