I've had success running 2.1 as well as the snapshots leading up to it on the same hardware (well, it has 24megs of ram but only sees 16). Are you creating the XFConfig file by hand or using the command "xf86config" to do it? I first noticed this program in XF86 3.11 I believe. It's definitely in 3.12 I suggest you use "xf86config" if you weren't. Maybe you got something a little off from what it wants. Beyond that I don't know what to say other than the hardware should work. Chris -- Chris Larson larson@cs.utk.edu Lab Assistant-Backups Computer Science Dept. University of Tennessee- Knoxville
