What Operating System/Environment do you most frequently use? OS/2, for four years now. 2.) What Operating System/Environment do you feel is the most User Friendly? MacOS is probably the most friendly, but OS/2 is definitely more powerful. 3.) Have you ever had a crash on your computer, that was blamed, or the fault of the OS/OE, if so.. which system/environment was the cause? before OS/2, i used Windows and it crashed at least several times/week. OS/2 rarely crashes. i haven't had a system crash in...let's see, it's been at least several months, and my computer is ON 24 hrs/day. however, OS/2 is infamous for its SIQ (single input queue) which occasionally gets blocked by an errant process, which effectively prevents the user from interacting with the desktop, even though all processes continue to run unaffected. most of the time, OS/2 will detect the blocked SIQ and give the option to terminate the offending process, but sometimes OS/2 has to be forced to clear the SIQ with the Ctrl-Esc sequence, which usually does the trick. it is very rare for OS/2 to just die, like Windows or MacOS might do. if the hardware is stable, then OS/2 is rock solid, in my experience. -- ! fm __o team OS/2 canada _`\<,_ (*)/ (*) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ / ~~~~\ /~~~~~ \ /~~~ those who hate the most love life the least
