The SMC EtherPower Combo 10Mb sells for $149.00 at CompUSA. This is
based on the DEC-21040 chipset. I've found this board to work quite
well under NetBSD/FreeBSD, however SMC dos-based ODI drivers are a
bit weak if you're also accessing a Novell network. Serious problems
putting the board into promiscuous mode under dos (but no known
 problems so far under unix).
