i am connecting my BSD machine via NFS to my Win 95 machine using a
piece of software called humming bird.
....

when doing large copies from the NFS server
the mountd process takes about 98% CPU and then
when the copy has finished the mountd stayes at 98% usage

mountd then needs killing and starting again.

any idea?

thanks
Rich
