I've installed the amanda-2.2.6 package from the CDROM and I've
managed to get all the config files tweaked, I think. I can run
amcheck and it's happy - no errors. I can run amlabel and it
will label my DAT tape. When I run amdump - nothing happens.
I lose the cursor for maybe 10 seconds and them the prompt
returns. No activity on the DAT drive at all. No log
entries - ever.

Has anyone managed to get this package to run?

TIA
