This is a generic, run o' the mill Panasonic CDROM drive, AFAIK.  It came used 
w/ the machine.  Best I can tell you is that my Ensoniq SC600 sound card 
drives it without any special setup or drivers, and Linux managed to drive it 
with no fuss.  I'm assuming that means the standard "Matsushita/Panasonic 
CDROM" driver in the install boot disk should be able to handle it.
