Subject: X86mono driving Everex EV673 in 386BSD - possible?

I have an old non SVGA card, an Everex EV673, I'd like to run it in
640x480x2-bit until I can get a new card/monitor. I've installed XFree86
under 386BSD (with kernel patches), and set up a basic vga2 Xconfig.
When I start X386mono, it gives up immediately with a list of possible
drivers, indicating that it can't recognise my card?! I force a chipset
"generic", but that makes no difference. Does anybody have an idea on how
to fix this problem. The card has 512K, not that it needs more than 128K.

Many thanks in advance,

	Warren
