It may be an actual timeout, who knows?

Bill Fenner has been looking into these.  You might want to post
something to the mailing list to see what he's been up to.

Ignore this.  It's something that should be only printed out when
DIAGNOSTIC is defined.

I'm pretty sure that *all* of the Adaptec boards suffer from the
problems Justin fixed in -stable.  If I remember correctly, it was a generic
bug in the sequencer code used by all of the Adaptec boards.

Email to gibbs@FreeBSD.org would give you the for sure answer, but I'm
almost positive it's a known bug in 2.1R that's now fixed in -stable.

At least get the -stable kernel sources and usr.sbin/config sources
(note that the kernel configuration file format has changed *slightly*
now) and build a new kernel to see if it helps.
