Any words from the wise on gotcha's when getting a FreeBSD box a permanent
connection to the internet (other than "don't do business with US West, if at
all possible")?

Have two interfaces on FreeBSD 2.01 machine one (206.251.71.3) is set as the
host name (phil.pbgi.com) for local access and the other (206.251.72.1) as
the domain name PBGI.COM (as registered). Is this the right approach (or
should my router get the 72.1 address)?

Since my ISP uses DNS do I (maybe for upstream hosts)? What about routed vs.
gated?

Any cautions, lessons-learned, or other advice would be appreciated.

Peace,
Blake
