Jim King (jim.king@mail.sstar.com) ´£¨ì:
: I've just installed FreeBSD 2.1.0. When I telnet to it from a PC on the LAN the
: telnet client connects right away, I see (using top) telnetd get started, but
: nothing appears in the telnet client display for about 75 seconds. THEN, I get
: the FreeBSD login prompt. Why the huge delay?

Maybe your DNS is not ready, I think.
