I have a 2.0.5 installation on a 991Mb Maxtor. I want to clone my machine onto a 2.1Gb Conner pft2105s. I have been looking through the man page for disklabel and have not been able to succesfully lable the disk. The Conner scsi drive has a variable number of sectors per track (67-139) which seems to be causing all kinds of wierd problems. I may even be on the wrong track with regard to cloning the disk to create a new machine. No, I don't have the original distribution. I sent my disk away, and it came back with bsd on it. As background, I manage two Ultrix and six AIX machines in the Asia-Pac region, but still feel "a babe in arms" with regard bsd.
