You got me there -- but BusLogic has been more than helpful in assiting in the creating of drivers for their Multimaster series of controllers, even going so far as to allow the author use of their compatability testing lab to test certain cards. It's only the FlashPoint for which the documentation is not available. To a certain degree, I can understand their not wanting to provide that level of information. You are essentially programming their SCSI controller chip at a very low level, and I suspect that chip level documentation might well not provide the nuances of how you are supposed to do certain things properly. This could easily be a support nightmare. It's hard for me to imagine how BusLogic could be any more helpful with my driver for the MultiMaster host adapters. At this point I have access to all the documentation and people I need, and I was even made a beta test site for their MultiMaster Ultra SCSI cards. This was mutually beneficial since they got a degree and kind of testing their own testing group can't readily achieve, and the Linux community get's solid high performance host adapters that have been well tested with Linux.
