Qualify that as "XFree86 does not work PROPERLY with these boards". One of the features of XFree86 (and its X386 ancestors) is that ability to switch displayed resolution via hot-key sequence. This capability is badly impaired by the clock problem. 25 and 28MHz clocks are not going to work for much more than 640x480 (unless you like a lot of flicker in your display). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- David Wexelblat | dwex@mtgzfs3.att.com | Somebody get me a AT&T Bell Laboratories | ...!att!mtgzfs3!dwex | cheeseburger! 200 Laurel Ave - 4B-421 | | Middletown, NJ 07748 | (908) 957-5871 | --Steve Miller Band
