Since there IS an entry for "Adding Disk Drives" in the Handbook, might it be possible in the interim to, well, put in a pointer to some glob of newsgroup messages, however unstructured such information might be? Heck, if someone will tell me where the raw information can be found, I'll write up a set of procedures and hand it over to the person in charge.
