That fury is not rational, you know.

An illuminating post on the reason why "most of us" would disagree
with me.  The guess I made in the previous post seems not too far wide 
of the mark.  Your chosen self-image has driven you to an artificial
abhorrence of a feature which could raise but could not diminish your
productivity and that of others on your system.
