NetBSD/i386 runs Linux binaries, both in a.out and ELF formats, including svgalib programs. FreeBSD runs a.out Linux binaries, and recently support for the ELF format was added. Additionally, both run IBCS2 binaries (SCO et. al). NetBSD/i386 also runs SVR4 binaries (Solaris, etc), and binaries for some other systems on its other ports (other than the i386). - Frank
