i am trying to install FreeBSD on my PC.

first, it did not recognize my CD-ROM, which is a Creative Labs
Quad Speed connected direct to a SB16 card. In the FAQ it says that
Sound Blaster CD ROMS are OK. Did i misunderstand this ?

second, i chose the 'Install from DOS' option and copied the relevant
files onto my C drive in the recommended directories, and then started
the install. I selected the MINIMUM install option and took all the
defaults where i could, and said 'No' to any extra install option.
Oh yeah, something important, my PC has two HD 1- 240Mb 2-540Mb
i have left the 240mb (c drive) as a DOS drive, and cleaned up the 540Mb
to use for FreeBSD. The install detected both drives and allowed me to
choose wd1 (the second drive) .

Anyway, the install seems to work OK until it starts to reboot,
i get a message on screen 'Syncing disks 4 4 1 ... done' then it hangs.

If i reset the PC i then get an error
	"NO ROM BASIC"
	"SYSTEM HALTED"

What have i done wrong ?
What do i need to do to fix it ?

Thanks
