I installed the pine package from the walnut FreeBSD 2.0.5 CD. The pine version
is 3.91. At times, the telnet sessions abort and pine is left running.
Why does pine use huge amount of cpu time? Here are top few line of
ps -aux

USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TT STAT STARTED TIME COMMAND
b97009 22300 62.4 3.3 1760 464 p0- RN Sun11PM 2797:32.90 pine
b97068 26775 62.8 3.3 1468 464 p1- RN Tue12AM 1369:02.89 pine

The output of ps was taken on wednesday. The second line show a day old
pine; the user is long gone.

The machine is and AST with 486/66MHz chip, 16MB memory and 1GB disk running
2.0.5 FreeBSD.
