Another possibility is copying all the stuff that comes with netscape
to, say, /usr/local/lib/netscape and then setting the following
environment:

XNLSPATH="/usr/local/lib/netscape/nls"
export XNLSPATH
XKEYSYMDB="/usr/local/lib/netscape/XKeysymDB"
export XKEYSYMDB

I don't like my filesystem cluttered with applications' config files
in the "system directories".
