I tried installing Xfree86 3.1.2D on top of netbsd 1.1.  Problem is,
that in the libraries, ldconfig will only link the highest versions of
the libraries, while lots of my programs require the old ones.  How
can i get this to work with ldconfig without using the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable?
