Date: Sat, 30 Mar 1996 02:45:36 GMT Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lines: 10 Message-ID: <315ca02f.1882594@news> NNTP-Posting-Host: sit.mit.edu X-Newsreader: Forte Agent .99d/32.182 I tried installing Xfree86 3.1.2D on top of netbsd 1.1. Problem is, that in the libraries, ldconfig will only link the highest versions of the libraries, while lots of my programs require the old ones. How can i get this to work with ldconfig without using the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable? Thanks.. Eric
