This has just been discussed in the bsdi-users mailing list. The word from
BSDI is that all ownership transfers should go through BSDI. A user
(forgot who) asked everybody to keep in mind that no one buys "ownership"
of the OS they merely buy a "license" with all of the ramifications
involved...

To the original post - You probably have your reasons for wanting BSD/OS,
but would it be out of the question to use FreeBSD or Linux?
