Has anyone successfully : I installed FreeBSD 2.1 some time ago from a Mitsume FX300 ATAPI CDROM drive. I The ATAPI works fabulously well on my Compaq Presario CDS 942 and a Sony IDE/ATAPI CD-ROM. Just copied the IDE/ATAPI from the January 1996 Walnut Creek distribution over to a 3.5" floppy disk and started installing. No problems whatsoever :-) -- Kaj J.
