If I said that company so-and-so is a bunch of jerks, why would you believe me unless you'd already tried them yourself? Likewise, why not call/ write X Inside and see if *you* think they're jerks, or if they're reasonable folks. I read their statement above as "X Inside supports previous releases even though there is a new release out". Nothing wrong with that. If the driver doesn't work, send support@xinside.com mail and ask for a newer patch... I've been happy with X Inside - I have Accelerated X, multi-head exten- sion, and Motif 2.0 development from them. Very inexpensive and quite fast. Good support, too.
