I am using this machine as a dialup server (not connected to the internet, but for field service people to connect. I have created ppplogin which calls ppp -direct, and I get ppp packets, but when I try to negotiate with the server from the dialup side, I get no-known protocol, or something to that nature. I do not wish to use PAP or CHAP authentication, just simple PPP connects using trumpet winsock and/or Windows95 dialer to connect. Any assistance on this would be muchly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jim Sloan jsloan@livnet.com Vice President LiveNet, Inc. 413 Davis St. Suite 106 Full Service Internet Provider Virginia Beach VA 23462 Dialup and dedicated connections Ph: 804-499-9328 Virtual Web, Email, and FTP hosting http://www.livnet.com info@livnet.com webmaster@livnet.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------
