With probability 1 - epsilon, I screwed up,
but if you can help, I'ld appreciate it.

When I boot my computer, I get the following:

F1 . . . dos [I _know_ but I _have_ to...]
F5 . . . disk2 [Seagate Medalist 1080sl 1G scsi w/FreeBsd]
Default: F5

F1 . . . BSD [installed from Walnut Creek CD, fdd boot]
F5 . . . disk1 [the IDE disk generating above prompts]
Default: F1

F1 . . . BSD [hmm, this looks familiar...]
F5 . . . disk1
Default: F? [seeming to sense something amiss]

I can get to dos/NT be selecting F1 initially but cant boot disk2

If I boot the install floppy and enter sd(0,a)/kernel
at the boot prompt, it will boot that kernel successfully.
This is workable but tedious.

Also, after selecting F1 for dos, _another_ boot selection
program (from microsoft) prompts to select Dos or NT, again workable
but tedious. I'ld like to merge the menu selections from the
two succesive boot managers (relatively low priority).

Can someone offer assistance with the above?

Thanks very much,
gps
