It defines 3 NCR controllers, 3 AIC controllers, 2 AHA controllers, and 2 BHA controllers. On those, you can have a full set of disks (sd), tape (st), and removable (sr) devices. Of course, if you actually have that many devices you'll need to do some MAKEDEV's to get device entries for all of 'em, but the kernel support (in GENERIC) is there.
