Message-ID: <1992Oct14.031829.13705@selway.umt.edu> Summary: Newbie with EISA problems... Organization: University of Montana Date: Wed, 14 Oct 1992 03:18:29 GMT Lines: 15 I have a 486 50 Mhz EISA machine with an Award bios, a BusTek BT-742a SCSI card and a 540 mb connor drive attached. I can boot off of the Tiny 386bsd floppy and run install just fine, but when I try to boot off of the HD, it hangs with the floppy drive spinning. From what I have read here, it seems that I should recompile the kernel with julian's SCSI drivers, which I do not have the resources to do. Is there an FTP site that I can get a dist.fs patched with the SCSI drivers? Any help, comments, etc would be greatly appreciated! The Necromancer
