The ST driver recognizes the drive, but all attempts to dump to it seem to fail. I have tried using /dev/nrst0_ddsII and various combinations and nothing seems to work. I get end of tape detected erros and various other errors. Also, the MT command does not seem to change the block size. I wanted to try using 512 bytes. MT returns a blocksize of 9 no matter what one type to change it. 1-24 is reported initially but then 9 for ALL changes. I would deeply appreciate anyone's help. PS: Using an Adaptec 1542 controller.
