There are some other threads about it here.  Basically, don't use the
<sys/cdefs.h> that comes with BIND, and you should be going without
any other patches.

FreeBSD-2.1R had 4.9.3-beta24, FreeBSD-{stable,current} have 4.9.3-rel.
