One caveat here--installing a new "boot1" (the first sector on the
disk) may cause problems.

This happened to me, but it may be because I have installed FreeBSD to
use the so-called "dangerously dedicated" option (i.e., to not share
the disk with any other OS).

I don't know how to install just "boot2" with disklabel -B, so I used
"dd" to copy the first sector to a file, then used that file for
"boot1".
