Neither can sef@kithrup.COM (see <1992Oct12.061945.530@kithrup.COM>). It looks like a BOOT009 failure: BOOT009: "Machine will not boot, have tried everything", tried dist.fs (Jolitz) dist.fs (cgd) fixit.fs (cgd), Copyright appears, disk access light stays on, cursor blinks, nothing else. I tried the suggested work around of unpluggging and plugging in the keyboard to no avail. I've tried various permutations of disk controllers, processor speeds, etc, as did sef@kithrup.COM, so I think it is related to this motherboard. This is the same motherboard as the Gateway 2000 local bus system. Does anyone have any suggestions for solving BOOT009, or gotten anything to boot on a system with one of these motherboards, or is there a new dist.fs with all patches applied that I can try?
