The gcc with the release is good, but it doesn't support objc
or a specs file. I have tried the pgcc, but it definitely
    requires current (newer shared libs).

Does anyone have or know of a port of gcc for 2.1. It would
be painful to have to get, install, and rebuild gcc.

Shouldn't there be a port/package for this somewhere????
