I could not back port the vx driver; :I think I* grabbed the wrong one or something. Anyway, it sat in the box :for awhile and caused problems with the serial ports. Then I got the SMC :ether ??? and config'd the de0, compiled and booted. It works like a :champ. Wanna buy a cheap 3c590? Okay, great.
