Nearly every major software vendor who produces software for both the Macintosh and IBM compatible/Windows/Intel machines releases their software on the IBM compatible side of the argument first. Why? The installed base of machines simply exceeds that of the Macintosh. 2. Name one product available for both platforms that works better on the Macintosh than on an Intel machine. 3. Name five major products that are available for the Macintosh that are not available for Intel machines. Before I get yelled at by every Macintosh user out there that I am some biased idiot who does nothing but plays games on my Pentium machine and I am not a "real" user, I want to make it clear that this simply is not the case. I worked for a publishing company producing magazines for over 3 years, but have changed my field to three dimensional animation and graphic design. I will soon be working for a major software publishing company working in the animation department. I can assure you that the above opinions are shared among educated users who have worked on both platforms.
