You cannot have two devices on the same address.  Apart from this, it
should work.  (The note was related to the dozen of devices that
default to address 0x300.)

Try disabling all the devices you don't have, perhaps even the
Etherexpress if you don't need it for the installation.  Post us the
relevant kernel boot messages should you still fail.  (Hint: once
sysinstall has been started and presents you its welcome screen, hit
ScrollLock and PageUp to see the boot messages.)
