Could anyone teach me how I should configure my kernel for using
Hayes ESP Communication Accelerator?
I tried default setting of the board, (0x300 port and irq 5? )
and kernel configuration
"device sio2 at isa? port 0x300 tty irq 5 vector siointr",
but the /var/log/messages gave me the following message.
: : : :
/kernel: ed0: address 00:c0:df:43:52:42, type NE2000 (16 bit)
/kernel: sio0 at 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4 on isa
/kernel: sio0: type 16550A : ESP slave esp_port has com 3
/kernel: esp_port has com 3
/kernel:
/kernel: sio1 at 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 3 on isa
/kernel: sio1: type 16550A esp_port has com 0
/kernel: esp_port has com 3
/kernel: esp_port has com 3
/kernel:
/kernel: sio2 not found at 0x300
/kernel: sio3 not found at 0x2e8

Do I need to initialize the card with Win3.1 utility so that
I can use irq 5? If so, sigh!!
Thank you for your help in advance.
