Four months are passed after I started this "PC-card" package project. I'm very thankful to the people who supported and helped our project. If you write a driver for unsupported cards, please tell me. If you have unsupported cards, please hack them. If you're not familiar to PC-card architecture, please lend them to us (of course, donation is more welcomed :-)). Some companies gave us the information or specs of their hardware, and a few companies donated their hardware to our project (for example, Planet Japan donated us their Ethernet card, and today I recieved a e-mail that a company is going to donate us their ISDN PCMCIA card with its specification). Thank you. Helps currently needed: 1. Qlogic SCSI driver. 2. Future Domain SCSI driver. 3. Multifunction cards. 4. Unstability problems of serial cards on particular machines. 5. Patches to if_ed.c for some quasi-compatible cards (ex. Socket EA Ethernet). 6. Cooperative operation between APM and PC-card driver. These points are the weakness of our package compared to Linux PCMCIA driver package. -- HOSOKAWA, Tatsumi E-mail: hosokawa@mt.cs.keio.ac.jp WWW homepage: http://www.mt.cs.keio.ac.jp/person/hosokawa.html Department of Computer Science, Keio University, Yokohama, Japan
