Hi...

I don't want to start a religious war, but I'm thinking of switching
from Linux to BSD, and wanted to get some imput from users. I know
this is a BSDI group, any responses are sure to be from that camp, but
here goes...

BTW, I'm an individual user who runs linux at home with a dedicated
ppp connection... not an ISP or anything. I use a 486dx2-66 box with
16 mb's of ram.

1. Are there any great advantages / drawbacks to one or the other O/S?

2. One of the reasons I might switch is for support and upgrades.
How is that service from bsdi?

3. I assume since there both *nix, that they would configure about the
same. Is this the case, or will I need to relearn everything again.

4. Does it come with all the standard apps & X Windows?

5. Finally, any testimonials from individuals who run it at home? (or
on their own)

Any thoughts appreciated...

Thanks.
