I posted a message asking about info on how to print to an Okidata 
610e/PS printer from freeBSD, and I believe I have found out why the 
printer will not work with the spooler daemon: the printer requires bi-
directional communications, and FreeBSD doesn't yet support that option.

:(

I just found that tidbit in the FAQ from the web site.
