I've noticed an annoying problem with both Xfree and
Xinside, related to VT switching. If I am unlucky and
pick exactly the wrong time to switch VTs, I can get
the system into a state where it henceforth refuses
to switch VTs forevermore. This usually happens if
you switch to, say, the console VT right after logging
out of an XDM managed X session, and while the X server
is re-cycling itself. All further attempts to switch
VTs just gives you a rather tart little ``beep''. The
only sulution is a re-boot.
