hmmm, I ran x11perf a few days ago, and it crashed the server...

from /usr/X386/lib/X11/xdm/xdm-errors:

this occurs when you use any of the following tests:

-wdcircle100, -wpcircle100, -wdellipse100, or -wpellipse100

this is on a 486DX2-50 (at least I think it's -50, it's someone else's
machine) with a SpeedStar 24X video card on 800x600.  Is this common?
It seems to work fine with everyting else we've thrown at it.
