I've got some speed probs with my CD-Rom and FreeBSD.
Configuration:
Toshiba XM-3701B
Adaptec 2940
Copying one file (39041636 byte) takes me 43 seconds under DOS and 80 seconds
under FreeBSD!! Any explanation?
I'm pleased with any reply/information.
