I am coming from the world of dos and try to live in a hybrid environment. I have found out how to mount a primary dos partition, but I cannot firgure out if and how to do so with extended dos partitions. Another point is mounting IDE CD-ROMs. The handbook says that this is not supported, but the handbook is running behind development in some parts, so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a way to use IDE CD-ROMs (Mine is attached to the secondary port). I'd like to buy a freebsd CD-ROM, that is what I need the CD-ROM support. Many thanks for any advice, Axel Thimm.
