Bravo! Bravo! This is precisely the sort of cooperative effort that I'd hoped to see in the post-CSRG BSD world. I remember when Rob Kolstad first anounced BSDI at Usenix, there was some fear in the audience that this was a step backwards, towards makinging BSD somehow "proprietary". At the time, Rob assured the audience that they weren't doing that, that they would "do the right thing". This is a perfect example of that - everyone will win.
